Tara Rainstrom is an artist and Tantrika who designs spaces and programs to explore our relationships with ourselves, our bodies and our pleasure. Tara is a desire coach that works with individuals to help them clarify and commit to a life they’ve always desired.
Tara is the Chatelaine of Refuge Event Space and lives on the property in downtown Troy on the unceded Mohawk, Mohican and Schaghticoke lands.
When Tara isn’t hosting or facilitating events she is dancing, playing in the woods, connecting with her joy through movement and breath, or in community with other wild and weird humans.

Tara Rainstrom
Tara’s background in dance and studying the art of pleasure and Tantra centers her work around connecting with the body with curiosity and deep reverence. She works with clients one on one to help them calm their nervous systems and connect to their power & pleasure.
She designs and facilitates experiences for humans to explore identity and pleasure through creative expression and somatic practices.
Tara operates her one on one work and other offerings in Troy, NY on the compound that houses Refuge Event Space and the Whimsical Carriage House.
