Compression and vibration as pleasure practices

Finding moments of pleasure amidst full summer days. It’s been a busy few days and I’m still feeling the exhaustion of not getting enough sleep or rest. Things are shifting and moving around me and my energy has been flowing to meet the pace around me. Simple things like how I wear my clothes to feel a little compression has been helping me feel connected and grounded.

As I walked around the bustling streets during Troy Night Out I came across someone playing gongs on the sidewalk. It felt so good to stand still for a few minutes and let the reverberation from the gongs wash over me. I’ve been relishing sound and sonic embodiment to feel more joy in my body. Noticing how it both stimulates and relaxes is a beautiful balance.
